- For Agniveer SSR: Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Physics, Maths, and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
- For Agniveer MR: Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit and meet the medical standards prescribed by the Indian Navy.

Selection Procedure for Indian Navy Agniveer SSR / MR Recruitment
The selection procedure for the Indian Navy Agniveer SSR / MR recruitment consists of the following stages:
Stage 1: Computer-Based Examination
- The computer-based examination will consist of objective-type questions on English, Science, and Mathematics.
- The examination will be of 60 minutes duration and will carry a total of 100 marks.
Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Candidates who qualify the computer-based examination will be required to undergo a physical fitness test.
- The PFT will consist of a 1.6 km run, 20 squats, and 10 push-ups.
Stage 3: Medical Examination
- Candidates who qualify the PFT will be required to undergo a medical examination.
- The medical examination will be conducted by authorized military doctors.
Stage 4: Merit List
- A merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the computer-based examination and PFT.
- Candidates who qualify all the stages will be enrolled in the Indian Navy as Agniveer SSR / MR.
