Job Summary
Analog Devices is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and testing software applications for Analog Devices’ products, including embedded systems, firmware, and software tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, product management, and quality assurance to ensure software meets product requirements.
- Developing and maintaining software documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and release notes.
- Troubleshooting and debugging software issues, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to integrate software with third-party products and services.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve software development processes and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on embedded systems, firmware, or software tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or MATLAB.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex software issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based software development, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
