Engineering Product Manager - Cisco Career
Job Summary
The Engineering Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product roadmap for Cisco’s engineering products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on market trends, customer needs, and business objectives
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, aligning with Cisco’s overall business strategy
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful product development and delivery
Customer and Market Insights
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to gather feedback and insights
- Analyze market research and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful product development and delivery
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective go-to-market strategies
- Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners
Product Launch and Lifecycle Management
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches
- Manage product lifecycle, including end-of-life planning and transition to new products
- Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of networking and engineering technologies, including routing, switching, and security
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent technical communication and presentation skills

Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing engineering products
