Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a passionate and driven Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team at Cognizant. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding our clients' critical infrastructure and data from ever-evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, analyzing potential threats, and implementing solutions to mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing security events: You'll be responsible for monitoring security logs, SIEM systems, and other security tools to identify potential threats and suspicious activities.
• Investigating and responding to security incidents: When a potential security incident occurs, you'll be the first responder, conducting thorough investigations, identifying the root cause, and taking appropriate action to contain and mitigate the damage.
• Vulnerability management: You'll actively participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, identifying weaknesses in our systems and applications and working with teams to remediate them.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest threats: The cyber threat landscape is constantly evolving, and you'll be responsible for staying informed about the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
