Description
Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, talent management, benefits administration, employee relations, and training and development. This role will provide strategic guidance and support to the organization, ensuring that HR initiatives align with business objectives and promote a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Talent Management
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pool
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent gaps and develop strategies to address them
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies and job boards
Benefits Administration and Compensation
- Design, implement, and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits
- Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness of benefits packages
- Develop and manage compensation programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and incentives
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as ERISA and ACA
Employee Relations and Communications
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies, including recognition programs, employee feedback mechanisms, and internal communications
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolutions
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, such as Title VII and FLSA
Training and Development
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and compliance training
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as OSHA and ADA
HR Operations and Compliance
- Manage HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as HIPAA and COBRA
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement business strategies that align with HR initiatives
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, Title VII, FLSA, and OSHA
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
