Job Summary
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Hitachi Vantara’s presence in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct regular sales calls and meetings to identify customer needs and provide solutions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Hitachi Vantara’s products and services
Sales and Account Management
Manage and grow existing customer relationships to increase revenue and customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute account plans to penetrate and expand existing customer relationships
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues
Sales Planning and Strategy
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Hitachi Vantara’s products and services
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies
Requirements and Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience in the IT industry, with a proven track record of success
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including storage, cloud, and data management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
