Description
Manager, Data Entry
Job Summary:
The Manager, Data Entry is responsible for leading a team of data entry professionals to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely entry of data into Imperial Oil’s systems. This role will oversee data entry operations, develop and implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Manage a team of data entry professionals, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure high-quality work and meeting performance targets.
- Develop and implement performance metrics to measure team productivity and accuracy.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to discuss performance, goals, and objectives.
Data Entry Operations
- Oversee data entry operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely entry of data into Imperial Oil’s systems.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce errors, and enhance data quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and integrity.

Process Improvement
- Analyze and identify areas for process improvement, and develop and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain documentation of data entry procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures.
Compliance and Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data entry processes are meeting company standards.
Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate with stakeholders, including other departments and management, to ensure data entry requirements are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Provide reports and analytics to management on data entry performance and trends.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data entry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data entry software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail, with high accuracy and quality standards.
