Responsibilities:

1. Network Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the network.
2. Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, network performance degradation, and security vulnerabilities. Troubleshoot and resolve network outages or disruptions in a timely manner.
3. Network Configuration: Configure and optimize network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Implement network policies and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
4. Network Monitoring: Implement network monitoring tools and systems to proactively monitor network performance, availability, and security. Monitor network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and network security events.
5. Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and access control policies. Ensure the protection of sensitive data and comply with regulatory requirements.
6. Network Upgrades and Expansion: Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations as required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new network components and technologies.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and changes.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including system administrators, application developers, and security teams, to ensure the smooth operation of network services and integration with other systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in network administration or related roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, and network security.
• Familiarity with network administration tools and monitoring systems.
• Experience with network devices from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work on rotational shifts, if required.
