Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet Mastercard’s high standards for quality, scalability, and reliability. This includes writing high-quality code, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet business needs.

Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and knowledge management.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve Mastercard’s software applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, Python, or C++.

Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.

Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.

Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.

Experience with containerization, using tools such as Docker.

Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence, and their applications in software development.
