Position: Shipping and Receiving Staff (Remote)

Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our remote Shipping and Receiving team. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. This includes receiving shipments from suppliers, verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and packing slips, identifying and reporting any discrepancies, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. You'll also play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments from various carriers.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
Inspect incoming inventory for any damage or discrepancies.
Report discrepancies to designated personnel and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Utilize our warehouse management system (WMS) to scan and record incoming and outgoing inventory.
Pack and label outgoing orders according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment in the designated warehouse space (if applicable).
Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operation.
