Job Summary

The Software Technologist will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet the company’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Design and develop software applications using various programming languages and technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of software applications

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure software quality
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and implement fixes
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure software meets quality standards

Maintenance and Support

• Maintain and support existing software applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by customers or internal teams
• Collaborate with customer support teams to resolve customer issues

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and engineering
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in software development
• Experience with programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum

Skills

• Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages
• Experience with software development tools, such as Git, Jenkins, or Eclipse
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
