Software Developer

Job Summary:

The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications for Samsung’s cutting-edge products and services. This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using various programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, and JavaScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software applications

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and regression tests to ensure software quality
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and implement fixes
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure software meets quality standards

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets project requirements
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

Continuous Learning and Improvement

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in software development with a focus on mobile or embedded systems
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

Skills:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
• Experience with software development tools such as Eclipse, Visual Studio, or IntelliJ
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
