Job Summary

The Junior Product Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of S&P Global’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and maintenance of product documentation, user guides, and training materials

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document product requirements
• Develop and maintain product documentation, user guides, and training materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Support the product development lifecycle

• Assist in the testing and quality assurance of new products and features
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize product enhancements
• Provide input on product roadmap and development priorities

Analyze and resolve customer issues

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
• Identify and escalate recurring customer issues to improve product quality

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 0-2 years of experience in a product-related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems

• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
• Experience with product development and maintenance
• Certification in a related field (e.g. Scrum Master)
