Position: Payroll Manager

Summary

In this exciting role, you'll play a vital role in managing the bank's payroll function. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee compensation, from salary calculations and deductions to ensuring timely and accurate payments. You'll also work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire payroll process, including data entry, salary calculations, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and other employee benefits.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and generate reports as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Analyze payroll data and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage payroll software and ensure its smooth operation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA, ICWA qualification a plus).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in the banking sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel is a must).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
