The Position

Accenture is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge projects.

Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for the entire software delivery pipeline, from continuous integration (CI) to continuous delivery (CD). You'll design, develop, and implement automated solutions to streamline development processes, improve software quality, and accelerate deployments. You'll also work closely with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient software delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Configure and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure code quality and adherence to DevOps best practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Implement security best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role (or a related role with strong DevOps exposure).
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (a plus).
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (IaC) is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Experience Level: Entry-Level to Mid-Level
